Justin Cook was born at Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma and was raised on the Cook family farm/ranch in North Central Keya Paha County near Mills, Nebraska. His undergraduate degree at Hastings College was in biology. In 2001, Justin graduated from the University of Nebraska-College of Law. Justin went on to practice as an associate attorney in Hastings, Nebraska where he gained expertise in litigation work. In 2003, he moved his family back to Lincoln to start his private practice.
Justin is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association, Kansas State Bar Association, American Association for Justice and Association of Collection Attorneys. He is a member of the Leadership Lincoln Class XXI and is a proud sponsor of the NYAA Sharks Sports Program.
Justin is married to Shawni (who works in the office as well) and has two children, Detric and Thursey. The family enjoys their pets and their dog Snoop may greet you at times in the office! Justin enjoys traveling, camping, hiking with his family as well as attending his children’s activities. He also is an entertaining member of the Lincoln Bar Association Golf League, and may even finish a hole without picking up his ball.

Shawni Cook was raised in Fairbury, Nebraska, south of Lincoln. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Creighton University in 1998. She has worked as a nurse and helped out at the law office until 2005 when she came to the practice full time as the office manager.
Shawni is married to Justin and enjoys watching their children’s activities as well as traveling, reading, movies, music and gardening. She loves spending time with their cat and three dogs.

Bobby Truhe grew up in Elk Point, South Dakota where he excelled in academics, sports and music. He is a 2008 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Spanish major and English minor. He was on the Dean's List every semester and graduated with High Distiction.
Bobby’s involvement included; Student Government, Honors Program, Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, Phi Eta Sigma, Alpha Lambda Delta, and Phi Beta Kappa honors fraternities, Greek Ambassadors, Mock Trial Club, and volunteer work with football and basketball at Lux Middle School and the Special Olympics. Bobby is also an avid Husker football watcher and blogger and humbly boasts his self-taught skills on the guitar. He frequents many golf courses, including a consistent and intimidating appearance with Justin in the Lincoln Bar Association Golf League.
Bobby was accepted into the UNL-College of Law and will be on hiatus for his first year of law school beginning August 2008.

Linsey Marshall is originally from Sidney, Iowa. She graduated valedictorian from Sidney High School from the class of 2004. Linsey graduated with Highest Distiction from the University of Nebraska in 2008 with news-editorial major with minors in communications, history and economics.
Linsey's activities include Student Government, Honors Program, Golden Key International Honor Society, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Phi Eta Sigma, Lambda Alpha Delta, Kappa Tau Alpha, Nebraska Press Women, Public Relations Student Society of America. She has been on the Dean’s list every semester and has been given numerous journalism awards for articles she wrote for the Daily Nebraskan. Her hobbies include spending time with friends and family, reading, and playing with her new cat Sheba. She has also made special appearances on the golf course with the Lincoln Bar Association Golf League.
